Afterwards...Then What?

There was a song once recorded that is titled.."It's So Hard To Say Goodbye".  The lyrics continues with the words...To Say Goodbye to Yesterday.  The words of this song is so true.  Especially when you losing someone you love.  Love can grip you in such a way you become numb and arch with pain in your heart.  Not wanting nothing or nobody to say anything to you.   But girlfriends and gents in this case also, after the love has gone go ahead and grieve if you must, but then, open your hands and heart to let it go. It's when we try to hold on to what is has already gone that we lose a piece of who we are as a person.  I just want to tell you that unless you allow it to go, you can't be open to jewel that is trying to be a part of your life.

A wise woman of the church told me some years ago, she said, "young lady, don't ever fight over something that is not your to fight over.  Cause if it was truly yours, you wouldn't have to fight".  True words if i ever heard them.
