As a child I loved this time of the year.  I guess you can say I've always been a diva for a long time.  A good diva nevertheless, but a diva.   My mom and I would go shopping the weekend before Easter Sunday for our outfits.  Sometimes we wore matching coordinating dresses, or at least the same color scheme, me with my white lace socks with ruffles around them, and I'll never forget those hard sole shoes with three buckles closures on the side.  I'd go with daddy to pick my Easter basket because that was our special time, plus he was helping me with my Easter speech.  He would let me pick out the biggest one, then mom would fuss cause it was bigger than me most of the time.   I'm all grown up now.  No more puff dresses with the scratchy under skirting to make it stand up or lace socks.  No, I'm a woman with good taste in clothes.  It's why I'm loving this hot pink Latina Dress by Ghee .  It's there newly released design th...

Fifteen hours sitting in a hospital waiting room hoping to hear good news.   The sound of the television playing, people walking past glancing into bright lite room that smelled of strong industrial cleaners.  Aside from the strong aroma, the room was cold, could feel goose bumps on my arms.  Standing up from my sit I decided to walked slowly towards the double doors where the exit sign above it. Once outside I strolled across the hospital lawn with hands in the pockets of my Caprice Mini Skirt.  Strange how time seems to stand still when you waiting for news about a loved one.  It feels as if your heart is going to burst out your chest due to fear. Hello everyone, I ran across an interesting letter from a pass friend while cleaning out my inventory.  The letter went on to say somethings that were entirely untrue, but yet it was believed.  At first I wanted to cry, then I wanted to write a not so pleasant letter back, but after reading the letter something my grandmother use to always say came to mind, and I quote her, "Worry about what people say only when they stop talking about you".  She went on to say, "Because when people talk about you apparently you must mean something to them, or their jealous of you, or what you have".    So instead of taking time out of my busy schedule to reply, I guess you know it went into my trash.
