Je suis Charlie
I was deeply sadden by the massacre on January 7, 2015 when twelve people were killed at the offices Satirical Newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris. Je suis Charlie is a french word that means "I am Charlie". It is a slogan that has been adopted by the supports free speak and freedom of expression. It identifies a speaker or supporter with those who were killed at the Charlie Hebdo shooting.
